SP15 Liquid Sampler Probe

The SAMPLEX™ SP15 liquid sampler probe offers a robust and flexible solution for all your sampling needs in inline systems. Whether it is crude oil or condensate products, the SAMPLEX™ SP15 is a sampling probe for process piping using a tapping point without the need to interrupt the process. It can be installed in pipes ranging from 2" to 52" in diameter for any complex sampling application, ensuring proper operation in the most demanding process or environmental applications. The SAMPLEX™ SP15 solution has the advantage of being equipment that allows for greater profitability over its useful life and complies with API MPMS 8.2, ASTM D3177, and ISO 3171 standards..


  • Piston motor with internal spring for safety in closing the sample conduit.
  • The piston motor has an internal safety spring; when there is no external power, the probe will return to its original position.​
  • You can manually insert the specimen using your optional insertion tool.
  • Ease of adjusting the insertion length in the process pipe.
  • All the complete construction materials of the equipment are made of stainless steel 316/316L.
  • It contains an integrated external relief valve for adjusting to the pressure range of the process line.
  • Pumping power that allows sampling of high viscosity products.

  • Medium to sample: Crude oil, refined products, and non-corrosive chemicals

  • Viscosity range: 1 – 1500 cSt

  • Ambient temperature range: -20 to 65 °C (-4 to 149 °F)

  • Construction materials: Stainless steel 316/316L, PEEK (Wetted parts)

  • Fluid temperature: -40 to 100 °C (-40 to 212 °F)

  • Power supply: Pneumatic or Hydraulic

  • Sample size: 0.5, 1, 1.5, or 2cc

  • Repeatability: Better than the API MPMS 8.2

  • Process connection: ANSI RF flange (optional RTJ)

  • Pressure range: ANSI 150, 300, 600, or 900

  • Process pipe size: 1” to 52”
