Control-X Sampler Controller

The SAMPLEX Control-X sampler controller is a fully configurable controller compatible with automatic sampling systems based on API 8.2, ASTM D4177, and ISO 3171. It can operate samplers proportionally to flow or time, in single or repeated batch mode. It is designed to be mounted at the foot of your automatic sampling system in the field for quicker and easier commissioning, and it features a front panel with a user-friendly integrated HMI that allows you to view the status and configure certain options in the automatic sampling system. The SAMPLEX Control-X has sufficient input and output capacity that can be integrated for sampling systems from different brands.

  • Digital inputs: 5 free-voltage contact channels

  • Digital outputs: 5 channels with solid-state relay

  • Analog inputs: 6 channels of 4-20mA type with an accuracy of ±0.075%

  • Analog output: 1 channel of type 4-20mA with powered current and accuracy of ±0.1%

  • Frequency inputs: 2 channels of type 0-24V, DC pulse voltage at a maximum frequency of 10 kHz and an accuracy of ±1 per count

  • Communication ports: 1 Ethernet port, 1 RS-485 serial port with Modbus communication protocol

  • Power supply: 24VDC / consumption of 7.2 watts

  • Approvals: FM / CSA. Class I, groups A, B, C, and D; Class II, groups E, F, and G; Class III; Class 1, division 2, groups B, C, and D

  • Ambient temperature: -20 to 70 °C (-4 to 158 °F)

  • Electrical connections: 3 ports ¾” NPT Conduit
